Hello welcome to our FAQ.  If you can’t find answers to your questions after reviewing the below, don’t fret, we’re here for you!

Q: How do I place an order?

A: Online: We want to make your online ordering experience easy and effortless.  If you experience an issue placing your order, please contact Customer Service, Monday through Friday between 8.30am and 4.30pm and we will be happy to help you.

Q: How do I know my order was placed?

A: Once you complete the checkout process, you will receive an order confirmation to the email you provided. No order confirmation?  Please contact us.


When will my order be delivered?

In stock items within 3 -10 business days.  Out of stock items there will be no back orders but if requested within 12 -16 weeks if not we’ll give you a full refund.


How much will it cost to deliver my order?

  • Delivery charges is $15.00 VIP Viti Levu, $20.00 VIP Vanua Levu. Outside city/town area item will have to be picked up from courier office to be advised by us: standard delivery charges will apply.
  • Outer islands freight cost will be calculated and advised. This will have to be paid prior to shipment.


What is your policy on returning products?

We want you to be 100% satisfied with your purchase from SUVA BOOK SHOP.

Upon receiving the product it is your responsibility to check the product properly to make sure the product or products are exactly the same as what you ordered prior to opening the package.  The customer is responsible for checking the item for any visible defects and to exercise due diligence in checking the product upon delivery. If the product is found to be damaged please  take a picture and send to us immediately by email.

However, if you have received a defective and/or damaged product or a different product to your order simply return it to us within 7 days of receipt of delivery in the original condition and we will gladly replace it or issue a full refund.  All you need to do is send us a message through our CONTACT US page and send us a picture of the damaged item.

To be eligible for a customer for a return

  • You have 7 days to return an item from the date you received it.
  • The item must be in the same condition you received it in.
  • The item must be in the original packaging and packaging must not be tampered with.
  • The item needs to have the original receipt as proof of purchase.

If a product returned as faulty is found to be not faulty, it will be returned and the buyer will be charged freight to and from the bought address.

Apart from returns of defective, damaged or different product supplied, the customer is responsible for freight charges of returned products.

All returned items should be delivered to our warehouse and should be sent by registered or certified mail or by signature required courier delivery.

No returns will be accepted after 7 days of receipt of delivery, other than faulty items and this has to be notified to us within 7 days of receipt via our contact us page.

Also note refund or replacement does not apply to clearance and sale items.

There are some items you’ll need to assemble.  These items will be checked before delivery.  If wrongfully assembled by you there is no refund or replacement on these items.

Do you sell Gift Vouchers/Cards that could be given to family or friend as a gift?

Yes. Don’t know what to give? A Suva Book Shop gift voucher is a thoughtful solution that is always appreciated.  Vouchers are available in $25.00. $50.00, $75.00 and $100.00 and are redeemable online, by phone or in person from our retail outlet at Greig Street, Suva.  Standard delivery charge apply for all orders to be delivered.  All vouchers will expire 6 months from the issue date and is non-refundable.

Vouchers for school for Prize Giving can be prepared in the requested denomination – Please contact us.


Do you sell to schools and libraries?

Yes, we will gladly provide quotations to school and libraries for all your enquiries viz school stationery, library books, text books, educational items etc.  Please send your enquiry to us via email or fax and we’ll gladly offer our best possible prices.  If our quote is ok you can place orders with official purchase orders if you have an account with us or prepay and we’ll deliver within 3-10 days or earlier upon request.  Standard delivery charges will apply.


Can we make payments from abroad to buy products for family or friend in Fiji?

Yes, Payments can be made from overseas only for delivery within Fiji. Please contact us and we’ll gladly help.  We do not ship overseas and the price of items to be delivered within Fiji will include value added tax.
